On April 7th, at the launch ceremony of the Cardiovascular Channel on the People's Daily Health Client and the initiation of the "National Active Health 6668 Enterprise Employee Care Plan," Biomobie (Shanghai) Regenerative Medical Co., Ltd. CEO Wang Jian, Zhu Yixun, Associate Vice President of the University of Macau and Dean of the School of Pharmacy, Li Jianping, Deputy Dean of Peking University First Hospital, and Hou Jieke, Senior Vice President of Ping An Health Medical Technology Co., Ltd., participated in the discussion on the topic of "The Important Role of Technological Innovation in Promoting High-Quality Development of Cardiovascular Treatment."

The application of any technology needs to be people-oriented. Wang Jian stated during the discussion that non-invasive, non-interventional therapies, and wearable mobile devices are providing new directions for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. He emphasized that the risk of cardiovascular diseases is proportional to age, and the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases are long-term processes. Therefore, technological product development companies should meet the long-term usage needs of patients. The development of products needs to meet three major conditions: safety, effectiveness, and accessibility, which are interdependent and indispensable. Otherwise, patients' preventive treatment is likely to be abandoned halfway.
In Wang Jian's view, the technological innovation of pharmaceutical companies should dare to explore new paths and break through traditional approaches to finding new targets. Taking the cardiovascular field as an example, Wang Jian said that previous research mainly targeted symptoms. Can we consider targeting the root cause or lesion that causes these symptoms? Through non-invasive digital therapy, electronic therapy, and physical therapy, using the microcirculation of the human body as a new target for research may lead to new breakthroughs, and new breakthroughs will bring about new preventive and therapeutic effects.

Zhu Yizun pointed out that China's cardiovascular field is booming in basic research and clinical translation, achieving many independent innovation achievements, including domestically produced stents replacing imported stents, and Chinese scientists publishing a series of high-quality articles on vascular inflammation, the occurrence, and development of atherosclerosis. Many studies, including bioelectric therapy to improve cardiovascular diseases, are also underway.
From the perspective of hospitals, Li Jianping pointed out that although cardiovascular diseases are chronic diseases, they usually manifest as acute diseases when treated in hospitals, such as myocardial infarction and acute stroke, which are highly lethal and disabling diseases. Therefore, the effectiveness of acute treatment of cardiovascular diseases should be further improved, and in the future, efforts should be made to actively build chest pain centers, heart failure centers, stroke centers, etc.
Li Jianping believes that from the perspective of prevention, a comprehensive treatment system based on the characteristics of the Chinese people, hierarchical diagnosis and treatment, and bidirectional referral should be established. A comprehensive treatment system with grassroots institutions should be built, and the latest technological means and research results of large tertiary hospitals should empower the entire prevention and treatment system.
In recent years, the development of Internet + healthcare management has been rapid. Hou Jieke said that Ping An Group has proposed a management-oriented medical strategy and has gradually transformed to serve the B-end. It has now accumulated more than 1,000 state-owned enterprise customers, providing paid services for 3 million corporate employees. Ping An Health matches each user with a family doctor and establishes a health file. Currently, the fastest-growing discovery from users is tumor-related diseases, and the most widely covered are chronic diseases such as cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, which is also the aspect that Ping An Health focuses on. In addition, Ping An Health also emphasizes four "combinations": online and offline combination, software and hardware combination, medical and health combination, and combination of outside and inside the hospital, to achieve better user services.
According to the latest "China Cardiovascular Disease Health and Disease Report 2021" released by the National Cardiovascular Disease Center, the current number of cardiovascular disease patients in China is as high as 330 million, and the incidence is in a continuous upward trend. The mortality rate still ranks first among the main causes of death in urban and rural residents. Every five deaths, two die from cardiovascular diseases, and the burden of the disease continues to increase. Experts at the meeting believe that the launch of the Cardiovascular Channel on the People's Daily Health Client will effectively promote the popularization of authoritative prevention and treatment knowledge and the promotion of new technologies and equipment for prevention and treatment.
